renaissance festival

it was quite amusing, i have to say. zilch the tory steller was back, of course. spoonerisms are very funny...if you don't believe me, just create one with "walk in the forest" or "fancy palace" it's amazing how fairy tales can sound so dirty =)

and the tortuga twins are likewise hilarious. although, i can't quite see why any parents would bring their kids to that, especially if they're under 10 (and there were several) they're wrong on so many levels. for example, one of their t-shirts has the text:

[front] "We've upped our comedy standards..."
[back] "...So up yours."

After which, they went up to a kid and said "Have you parents buy you this shirt...we call it the principal's special. Wear it to school Monday and you'll get Tuesday off!"

so wrong, but yet so funny. i'd've bought a shirt, but $18 is too much for cheap quality shirt. i got mocked by the blonde one (scaramouche), but i'm not big, bald, or mean enough to warrant active participation. oh well =)

unfortunately, coming back meant i have a whoooole lot of work to do. bah!!
